Title: Unlocked
Pairing: Stayne/Alice
Summary: She hopes he knows that she liked his largeness too. Stayne/Alice
Warning(s): Suggestive wording
He pushes her up against the wall, and presses his body close to hers -so close in fact their faces nearly touch. Hot breaths mingle until they are one, while eyes of different hues are fused together. His tall frame is no match for her own looming body, which forces him to look upwards. (With eyes so dark they could rival the nighttime sky)
"I like you. I like largeness," Stayne whispers seductively. (His voice is as lush as velvet and almost hypnotic)
Alice feels the last feeble threads of her innocence quickly begin to fray; images race through her mind –images that make her blush like her cheeks have suddenly been painted a rose colour. Stayne must notice, for her leans in ever so slightly, as if to analyze the contours of her face. In the process, a strand of his ebony coloured hair brushes against her neck. Alice forgets to breathe as she inhales the scent radiating from him: unknown spices that only belong to this world, and of the Underland woods with its tall trees.
"A-and I like your largeness too," Alice counters, hoping the sudden remark will give her a moments chance to escape. She cannot possibly run however, as Stayne's expression slowly begins to change. A look of shock and bewilderment riddles his face, but above all, there is an undeniable lust that seems most prevalent. Beyond all of that though, Alice finds the smallest hint of tenderness dispelling from his coal black eyes.
Alice feels uncomfortable suddenly, like she has seen something she wasn't supposed to see. Her image of a dark brooding man with no heart has become distorted and blurred, like a memory that as become altered through the years. She doesn't know the man before her at all now, like so previously thought.
By now Stayne has regained his senses, and is leaning in to press his lips against hers when-
"Stayne! Stayne where are you?!" Iracebeth's shrill voice reverberates off the stone walls and pierces the ears of anyone in the castle. Stayne slams his fist against the wall, and gives Alice an odd look. (Of wanting and longing –and oh there it is again: tenderness)
He says nothing as he walks away, but the words unsaid in his eyes say it all.
(She'll unlock that tenderness someday, like the Hatter has unlocked her muchness)
