Hello everyone. It's me! TheWoosmann. I am going to start now my new project. It's the sequel to SftI: Mab. (Stories from the Island: Marco's adventure begins)

It contains my own stories of the TTTE franchise and the events happen directly after season 22 of the TV series.

The first four chapters are about the narrow gauge railway. It's going to be a bit like the Railway series that four stories equal a book or something like that.

The first Arc (I'm going to call I like that) is called "Luke the Quarry Engine". Have fun!

Chapter 1

Luke and the Old Warrior

It was another good day on the Skarloey Railway and Luke was on his way to Ulfstead Castle. He had to deliver some Slate from the Blue Mountain quarry there. Since he went there for the first time he liked it there a bit.

He arrived there and started to shunt them on a siding." 'ello Luke." Millie, the French narrow gauge engine that belonged to the Earl of Sodor, greeted him. He had to blush immediately.

"Oh hey Millie. I brought the Slate Delivery." Luke said flattered. I thought her accent is kinda cute.

"Well Zhen. Let it stay zhere and I bring it later to zhe building site." Millie smiled. He did so and after that he went back to the Quarry." Say "'ello" to the others from me." She said before he left the castle grounds.

On the way back to the Blue Mountain Quarry he met Duncan." Hello there Duncan. What a wonderful day we're having right?" The green engine greeted the yellow Scotsman.

"Luke? Why aren't ya at the Quarry." He asked confused.

"Oh I had to deliver some slate to the Castle. And I see you're pulling passengers." The Irish engine happily.

"Uh. Yeah. Ya know how I hate goods work...oh by tha way, you'll have to take a train to the quarry tonight. They need new tools and some cables. I feel really sorry for ya." He said with a sneaky tone in his voice.

"Why. It's just some trucks I have to take when it's dark."

"Oh didn't ya know. It's going to be foggy tonight. And I hope tha Olde Warrior isn't going to catch you." Duncan lied at him, Luke sadly fell for his lies.

"The old warrior. Who's that." He asked a bit scared.

"A engine that drives around at night. He only works when everyone is asleep. Because who ever saw him was never seen again." The yellow engine explained." Why do you think Freddie and Mighty Mac aren't around us anymore."

"Oh dear..."

"Well then. Good luck Laddie." Duncan said and went off. After he was sure Luke couldn't hear him he started to laugh." Hahaha. Nice one. The old Warrior. That's my best ghost story yet."

It was late evening at Crovans Gate and Luke was coupled to the train to the Quarry. Stanley, the narrow gauge engine, shunted his trucks at the right place." Well then. You can go. Good luck Luke-boy." He said and the green engine went off.

During the whole ride he was concerned about what will happen. The fog started to rise and the sun was already gone." So far, so good. No sign of a old warrior." Luke said frightened. Then he heard something that send shivers down his firebox.

"Was that a whistle. Is someone behind me." The Irish engine rapidly increased his speed. In the distance he could already see the blue Mountains of the Quarry." Almost there."

He quickly arrived at the Quarry and left the trucks on a empty siding. As he went on the turntable to turn around he saw a light in the distance and the whistling from before." Oh no. It's the old warrior." Luke shouted afraid and dashed backwards through the Quarry.

Luke drove into a tunnel and came out at the Upper Terrace. The light started to follow him and started to increase his speed." Stay away. I never saw you! I don't want to disappear." The Irish engine panicked and drove straight onto some points.

He was unfortunately way to fast and derailed as he went over them." Oh no. Now he'll get me for sure." Luke said and was sure that's the end of the line for him. The light came closer and closer until it was right in front of him.

The Irish engine opened his eyes and saw a dark brown narrow gauge tender engine." Hello there little one. You're Luke right?" The engine said in a calm tone.

"Yeah...Are you the Old Warrior? And am I going to disappear now?" The green engine said and took a closer look at him.

"Well, that's actually my nickname. They call me so because I never give up when I'm working. Like a warrior. My real name is Bertram." The brown tender engine explained." Let me help you and pull you back on the rails."

Bertram's driver coupled the two engines together amd and the brown engine pulled Luke back onto the track." Thank you. And sorry if I ran away from you. But Duncan..." Luke began but was suddenly interrupted.

"You don't have to say more I know now what happened. This Scottish Engine is sometimes a real pain in the ass." Bertram sighed slightly annoyed and pulled Luke to the sheds at Crovans Gate.

The next morning, Duncan still had to laugh about the prank he pulled on the green engine." He derailed himself because he was afraid. That laddie is sure is dumb sometimes."

"Aw shut the Hell up Duncan. That was not funny what you did." Peter Sam said angrily.

"Oh please. I never was afraid of something. Because I'm a brave engine." The Scotsman boasted.

"Funny that you say that after you almost shat yourself after the events with the "Old Iron Bridge"." Stanley mocked him. Duncan had to admit his defeat and went silent to his passenger train.
