I hope you guys like it. I never wrote a Bel story before so I hope it turn out ok.
Reassurance
Bel wasn't at all surprised when the rest of his teammates woke up cursing as a surge of memories interrupted their usual nightmares. It took all Bel had not to claw his throat out in aggravation and admittedly fear when he saw his brother alive and well. Not exactly what he expected or remembered when he took his sweet time shredding his dearest twin Rasiel throat apart and ultimately removing his heart. He remembers that old dreary castle made out of limestone, mulch, timber, and concrete. He remember garden that his mother seemed to love more than he and his brother. He remember the maids and butlers fear and disgust as he and his brother made it a game to see who could hurt the other the most, more often than not it result in them needing medical care afterwards, but their sick smiles never disappeared. He remembers his brother always besting him in everything and the proud look in his father eyes. Rasiel was always his father favorite and therefore he was going to inherit the throne, but Bel wasn't please with it. No way.
So Bel decided that if he couldn't have the throne, nobody would. Of course one would wonder why didn't he wait until they were older and fight for the throne, but he admits he was just a kid that threw a tantrum. Plus his intentions was to just kill a few people, but the sight of blood excited him so much that he just kept on killing.
Bel ran his hands of the red walls as he walked the familiar hallways. The bodies or the bones were still where he left them, clearly the villagers were too scared to enter castle and instead fled the country. He entered the sitting room and his mother was still there, the hand-lady Margaret still had her hands on her throat and a few guards on that hallways were slumped against the wall, and the further he went, it was just the same thing, nothing but guards and servants dead in the middle of the hallways. Bel cackled as he poured more and more liquid on the floor. Bel came across an office at the end of the west wing of the castle and looked down as he saw his father. He knew it was him seeing as he had his crown. Bel tsk'd and walk away. He felt empty. He stumbled out of the castle and into a garden. After so many years that passed by, those stinking flowers still had the nerve enough to bloom, Bel grabbed a handful and ripped them out of the ground and he continue to do so until the ground was bare and he started digging with his hands. He didn't think about getting a shovel, something that would have made his job easier, but he stalled long enough, he stalled long enough and he had to know.
So he kept digging and he dug for hours not stopping even when it began to rain. Bel kept on digging until he spotted a speck of grey. Bel grin, he pulled and tugged on the bones until he heard the ground shift and bones snapping. He removed more dirt and dug around some more until he found a skull and ultimately a tiara. Rasiel. Bel, climbed out of the grave and looked around for the bottle he had with him and poured it over the skeleton that belonged to his twin. He grabbed for his matches that were thankful still dry and lit one up and threw it at the body. He watched it burn. He suddenly felt tired, was it relief? Maybe, but he stood up and took one last look as his brother body turned to ashes and walked away.
