What if Melena knew the side effects of Green Elixir well before giving birth to Elphaba? Would she still have taken it? What if everything was reversed, and Elphaba was in a wheelchair, and Nessarose was green?
Melena POV
I got into bed after a long day. Frex was out somewhere, saying he'd be home soon. It was just me and my baby. Finally, Frex came home. " My dear have you ever heard of Green Elixir"? "As a matter of fact, yes. What about it"? "Well, I heard it has side effects, and if you drink it while pregnant, your baby turns green. My friend's sister's baby is as green as the grass". "Well, what's so bad about a green baby"? "Everything"
