What's up my dearies! It's been so long since I've posted ANYTHING, and it's kinda sad. But, I'M BACK! So...Yeah.

Ok, so this story is in the present and it's just a little short I came up with and felt like sharing :3

Characters:

Kenshin(18)-He is in high school and the eldest of the three Himura brothers. His parents were killed by a bandit 8 years ago and he got a cross scar on his cheek while saving his little brother's. He will do anything for his friends and siblings.

Kenji(15)-He is in middle school and the second of the Himura brothers. He practices swordsmanship everyday and tries to keep up with his eldest brother.

Kentaro(8)-He is in elementary school and the youngest Himura brother. He looks up to his eldest brother and tries to copy him all the time.

Kenshin and Kenji waited at the gate of Tokyo Elementary School, Kenshin resting on the wall pushing on Kenji. "Stop it Aniki!" Kenji growled annoyed. Kenshin looked at him boredly and turned his head towards the school entrance. "You're so mean." Kenji's eyes widened. "Me?! Youre the one messing with me!" "Why you!" The two brothers growl at each other. A cute, little voice catches their attention and they turn their heads towards the voice. "Onii-san, Nii-chan!" Kentaro yells happily. Kenji smiles and waves. "Hey Kentaro!"

Kenshin smiles as well and spots something following Kentaro. "Hm, who's that?" he asks. Kentaro smiles and moves so his brothers can see the follower. "This is Hinata, my girlfriend." Kenshin's eyes widen. "Girlfriend?!"

Kenji looks at his elder brother in confusion. "You didn't know about her?", "You did?!" Kenshin faints, Kenji bends down to check his fallen brother. "Are you okay, Aniki?"

Kenshin scoots over to the gate of the school and sits in his depression corner. "First Kenji, now Kentaro…" he mumbles. "What's Onii-San talking about?" Kentaro asks. "Oh he just found out about our relationships.", "Why won't they rely on me...they can't leave the nest yet." Kenshin sniffles to himself. Kenji and Kentaro look at him in embarrassment and Kenji picks him up. "Come on Aniki, it's alright." Kenshin looks up at him with tears. "Kenji, why won't either of you tell me these things. I'm your brother, right?!" Kenji smiles awkwardly. "Yes Aniki, you are. Just because we have girlfriends like you doesn't mean we are leaving you "nest" or that we aren't relying on you anymore."

Kenshin sniffles and strangles his brothers in a hug. "I have such nice little brothers!"

Well, that was weird. But, I like it :) I do have a story I could do with these guys and the rest of the Kenshin-gumi but I wanted to try this before I went with the other idea.

Kenshin: I don't act like that!

Kenshinotaku: You do now.

Kaoru: It was cute when you freaked out about Kenji and Kentaro having girls.

Megumi: Kentaro is so cute!

Sano: where the heck were we?!
Yahiko: Yeah, we're the main characters in the anime, so why were we left out.

Kenshinotaku: Because you guys aren't Himura's, don't go to Elementary school, and don't know two of the brothers yet.

Sano and Yahiko: Crap!

Kenshinotaku: Well, if you get my dear fans to have me write a full story instead of shorts then you will be in it.

Sano and Yahiko: Please do it, fans!
