Hey Guys!:D This is my first fanfic, so please don't judge my work.
Okay. Here we go!
Chapter One: The Good News
One Sunday morning seemed to be like every other Sunday morning for the Chipmunks, Chipettes and Dave, but this Sunday morning was special. All of them were going to get the surprise of their lives. Dave, the Chipmunks and the Chipettes were all quietly eating their breakfast when they heard a knock at the front door. Everyone looked up from their plates.
"Who could be at our front door at this time of the morning?" Dave asked in a confused tone as he poured his cup of coffee.
"It's probably one of those real estate agents trying to sell us a house Dave," Simon replied before he took a sip of his orange juice, "Just ignore it."
So Dave took Simon's advice and ignored it. Suddenly a familiar voice came from the front door. "Dave are you awake? Quick open up, it's me Ian Hawke. I have something to tell you!" The voice said.
"Ian is that you?" Dave asked,
"Yeah it's me, open up tout de suite!" The voice replied.
Dave put down his cup of coffee, jogged to the door and opened it to see a tired-looking Ian, looking down to his shoes and breathing heavily, as if he ran a marathon.
"What is it Ian?" Dave asked,
"I need to talk to them," Ian replied breathlessly, pointing to the Chipmunks and Chipettes, who were almost finished with their toaster-waffles and were busy washing their plates.
"About what?" Dave asked him, in a rather rude tone of voice.
"Can I just talk to them for two minutes, please?" Ian begged him.
Eventually, Dave gave into Ian's pleading and invited him in. Dave and Ian walked through to the kitchen to see both, Chipmunks and Chipettes cleaning off the kitchen table.
"How are my shining stars this morning?" Ian said with a big smile on his face,
"Good morning uncle Ian..." they all replied, tiredly in unison.
"So what do you want to talk to us about?" Dave asked him, after gesturing for he and Ian to sit.
"Okay guys and girls I got some great news," Ian replied, "You guys are going to be performing in something called 'Battle of the Bands'. A fund-raiser in Madison Square Garden in which famous bands from around the globe compete for the title of 'Greatest Band on Earth'"
"Are all the big names going to be there?" Brittany excitedly asked,
"Yeah of course they are. What did you think?" Ian asked sarcastically.
"What time do we need to be there by?" Alvin asked him. The Chipmunks nor The Chipettes had ever been to Madison Square Garden, neither had Dave. So they were all very excited about it, well, all except for Dave.
"Well it starts at 20:30 tonight so be there by 18:00 sharp alright?" Ian replied.
"Woah woah WOAH there guys," Dave said, "You are going NOWHERE tonight. You have school in the morning."
"Come on Dave, lighten up," Alvin replied, "Remember, it is a fun-raiser, and I LOVE fun."
"FUND-raiser, Alvin!" Jeanette replied. They all burst out into laughter, except for Alvin who was red with embarrassment.
"Okay okay let me think about this." Dave said. He thought for a while and then finally said, "Alright you guys can go." They all screamed in unison.
This was turning out to be a good day for all of them, but none of them were ready for the events that were coming their way that night...
