"Sarah, I'm sorry," said Ashley, her tone saying otherwise. "I forgot to put your name in the drawling pool for the Secret Santa."
Sarah ignored Ashley's mean smile. She focused on a single thought: if her name hadn't been pulled, then who'd left her such perfect gifts all week?
Another package laid on her desk. Sarah unwrapped it...and almost dropped it. In shock, she read the tag.
Sarah, it said. Reconsider. In the meanwhile, do look up. Sarah looked up in time to see Ashley break out in purple spots.
Sarah laughed, her fingers tightening around a perfect crystal ball.
