"Wake up Bells, time for school" I woke myself up, unsure of any of the mythical creatures that seem to fill themselves in my life. As I was tying my shoe laces, I heard the familiar beep of a Volvo. I raced downstairs so fast, that I didn't even say goodbye to Charlie. As I raced down the pavement, I seemed to have forgotten to remember that it was January, and there was snow all over the driveway. I could already feel myself sliding, but there he was, and caught me so gracefully, I almost felt enchanted by his swift movements. His icy cold lips soon turned warm as they reached mine. He pulled me up, and with a sweet smile said " You really should look while you run." I grunted and before I could even touch the handle of the passenger door, he opened it, helped me in,(which I didn't understand why) and quickly strapped me in with his nimble fingers. He hopped in and instantly started the car. We quickly arrived at school, raining as usual. But, a worried, slightly angered expression crept on to Edward's face. "If I told you to stay in the car, would you?" He asked, but as soon as he said that I was already walking toward the stairs to enter school. There stood Jacob Black, a childhood friend, and I became close to him when Edward had gone to the Volturi in Italy. I had expected to see his goofy grin, long hair, and him come over and swing me around. But, I had remembered what had happened this summer. A dark, gloomy expression had been firmly planted on his face. "Get out of here" Edward said. " She has a right to know" I felt as if they were having this conversation with out me. " Know what?" There has been a series of disappearances, killings in Seattle." Edward said, he didn't even look me in the face. " We've been tracking the red head for a while, and we don't know what she wants." Jacob said somewhat unsure how I would handle it. " She wants me" I said looking up at the sky. No one said a word, it was as if the world stood still. I had tried to change the subject, " Why don't you ever answer my calls?" I said slightly angered by his arrogance. " I have nothing to say" "Well, I have plenty." He pointed toward his motorcycle. I started to walk, but Edward gripped my arm. " It's not that I don't trust you, I don't trust him" He said. " I' ll be fine." I jumped on his motorcycle, putting the helmet over my head. " Wipe that grin off your face" I said. As we entered La Push, I knew that this would be an interesting year.
