Tris looked around at her surroundings. Her mother had just taken her to Heaven and everything was completely beautiful. The sidewalks were paved with gold and wildflowers grew everywhere. The buildings were of many time periods with neat lawns in their front yards. Despite the beauty, Tris wasn't happy or at peace like all those old, sappy romance books said she would be. All she felt was empty. She sighed and kept her head down as she continued walking. She just couldn't be happy without Tobias there. Not looking where she was going, Tris accidentally bumped into a young couple, accidentally knocking the man down. The man held the knee he fell on and started whimpering. Tris apologized, "I'm so, so sorry!" The woman gave a comforting smile and said in a London accent, "It's fine. He's just acting like a baby." Tris nodded but was still worried. The woman looked concerned and asked, "What's the matter? You look upset." Tris sighed and confided in the woman, "I... I just arrived here and I miss being alive. I wish I hadn't gone with my mom." The woman looked confused. Nobody ever wished they hadn't come to Heaven. Even the happiest people alive were even more happy when they died. Tris continued, "I mean, It's beautiful here but I miss my boyfriend." Realization shone on the woman's face. The man 'aww'ed at how much Tris loved Tobias. The woman grinned at Tris and replied, "Well, you are lucky enough to have bumped into the husband of one of the only people who can help you. If you wish, I can let you repeat your time stream. You will be sent back in time to right when your life changed forever but will be allowed to keep your memories." Tris thought it was too good to be true until she realized that Tobias wouldn't know her. They would be back to Four and Beatrice. Despite that inconvenience, Tris nodded. The woman smiled and her eyes started glowing bright gold, like two suns. A wolf howled and everything went black. When Tris came to, there was a crowd around her. Then a familiar face pushed their way through. It was her mom! Tris had to stop herself from hugging her because that would look strange. She held out her hand to help Tris up. Tris took the hand and used it to pull herself to her feet. She was on the bus to the ceremony where she would choose her faction. Her mother looked her in the eye and asked, "Are you all right, Beatrice? You haven't fainted before." I didn't remember this happening the first time around so I must be able to change history. Then the bus pulled up to the ceremony.
