start story
Gokudera and Tsuna had been in the middle of a study session when the sky had lit up, the walls shuddered, and the lights went out.
For Gokudera, it hadn't been a big deal, he was used to the dark, and storms didn't bother him at all. He was the Storm Guardian, after all.
But then he had heard a small whimper from beside him, and when he turned to the sound, the lights flickered on for a second, and he saw the Tenth. Then the second was over and the lights were out again, but Gokudera was already moving, the image of a shaking, bright eyed Tsuna sketched in his mind.
"Shh, it's all right," he told the other, smaller, boy, as he pulled his boss into a hug, the shaking boy immediately latching onto his shirt, "I'm here."
"Gokudera-kun…" Tsuna breathed out heavily, collapsing fully against his right hand man, "Thank you," he murmured.
"Any time," Gokudera whispered back. Then he paused, before letting out a faint, almost unheard, "…Tsuna."
Tsuna heard, and smiled.
