A/N: Hi, this is challenge number twenty-eight. The thought struck me as I watched PC. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Disclaimer: Lets see… I own a cat… but don't own Chronicles of Narnia.

"Act your age!" that one sentence struck Peter as odd. After all, that officer had no way of knowing the boy he had just scolded was a twenty-three year old king.

Here he was, Aslan's number one champion, fighter of a hundred battles and High King over all the kings of Narnia except Aslan and His Father-Over-The-Sea. Emperor of the Lone Islands and Knight of the most honorable order of the Lion, He was always on Aslan's side, even if there was no Aslan to lead it. Yet, here he was, fighting children that were ten years his junior, like a drunken jerk. With a start, Peter realized that when he fought he wasn't gaining any glory, he was dragging himself down. Not only himself, he was also dragging the name of Aslan and the name of Narnia with him. He was dragging the names of his brothers and sisters down as well. Peter knew that from now on he needed to be the king that Narnia had found in him, he needed to be the king that he had found in himself. Peter raised his eyes from where he had stumbled over a raised tile and knew that from now on he would live as like a Narnian as he could, even if there was no Narnia.

As Peter drew himself up to his full height, a beam of light hit his blond hair. For a brief moment the officer could see a golden crown and a magnificent king.

The officer stood, shocked. In the middle of a subway, while looking at a normal teenage boy, he felt that he had encountered magnificence.

Help feed the starving authors, leave a donation in the blue box.

Anyway, if you have read my authors notes please say….. "Time Lord" in your reviews. Why? Because I like Doctor Who. Now, I've done my part by writing the story, it's your turn to do your part and review.
