A man died. He lived a long life and he died in his bed peacefully at 96. However he found himself in hell. He was disappointed because he assumed he would make it to heaven and yet he didn't. A few days went by and he began to find hell unbearable. One day he looks at his friend and said, "I've made a decision"

"What is it," his friend asked.

"I'm going to make it to heaven," the man tells his friend.

His friend stares at him.

"You're crazy," his friend said.

"No," he said, "I'm not crazy. I'm going to make it to heaven."

"That's insane," his friend said.

"Is it," he asked.

"Yes it is," his friend replied, "You're in hell now."

"I know," he said, "But I'm going to make it to heaven"

"Stop talking like that," his friend said, "It's nonsense"

"It may seem so," he told his friend, "But I'm going to make it to heaven."

"You're insane!"

"Am I? Where am I now," the man asked

"Hell," the friend replied, "Just like me"

"Exactly," the man said, "I have nowhere to go but up"

A-N: This is a PARABLE! Don't write of it's inaccuracies because it is not meant to be a true story but rather one to show that even when you are at rock bottom there is nowhere to go but up.
