Alrighty~ Well.. I'm new to , but not new to writing. This one isn't my best work since I've been rushed, but it IS one of the few of CubiaXKite.. if not the first one that's been written since the second volume of X-Fourth came out..
Anyways.. please no flamers. D If you no likey, you no read.
It has some slash, but not anything that would creep you out, just a little fluff.
Cute fluff~!
:3
I need to work on my grammar a bit.. I know that.. but anyways.. Yeeahhh.
The song I used is called 'How to Save a Life' by The Fray.
I cried when Cubia died. ;-;
This scene was sort of at the ending of the second manga volume, but I twisted it a bit. :3
As I see a lot on here... 'Please read a review!'
.....
xD
Just a little short one chap fic I wanted to do after Cubia's death. ;-;

"C'mon! Let's go check out that battle circle!"
Blackrose yelled out, lifting her hand high up into the air
and waving it around, getting the attention of Orca and
Kite.
"All right, let's go." Orca smiled, turning
around to start walking over to Blackrose, who was way ahead
of the two.
Kite lifted his foot to take a step when
something had suddenly made him gasp lightly, placing his
foot back down onto the rocky ground with a light noise.
Turning his head to look around his shoulder, his bright blue
eyes were reflecting light from the setting sun along the
horizon off of the cliff.
His hues widened, the misty air
around the area seeming to form a familiar scene. He swiftly
turned on his heel, taking a few steps forward to stop a few
inches in front of the ghostly apparition.
The wind blew
silently and smoothly along the top of the cliff, blowing
Kite's bangs gently into his eyes as he stared at the
figure.
It smiled, bangs covering his eyes as the white
scarf flew smoothly behind him.
Kite lifted his head to
face the other eye to eye, smiling gently. "You and I.. are
two halves of the same whole.."
It lifted it's head to
smile sweetly at the other. Cubia's apparition tilted it's
head gently, as if understanding what Kite had said.
The
Twin Blade's stomach turned lightly; he could feel warm tears
start to build up in the corner of his eyes. "Maybe.. as
long as I'm in 'The World'... you'll be here as well..."
Kite whispered, blinking to try and clear the fresh tears,
but it only allowed them to start streaming gently down his
face. The Twin Blade could feel a sudden rush of wind caress
his triangular marked cheek, making him frown as he stared at
the apparition.
Cubia's form frowned lightly, then gave
Kite a reassuring smile. The tears just wouldn't stop
flowing.
He lifted his hand, just as Cubia's ghostly
appearance did, like a reflection in a mirror. The Twin Blade
reached forward, his fingertips lightly touching and passing
through the cold apparition's lifted palm. Slowly allowing
his gloved hand to fall back down to his side, he smiled
gently and whispered, "Goodbye, Cubia..."
The ghostly
apparition nodded, it's data splitting up slowly within the
gust of wind and suddenly disappearing, a low and calming
voice being carried through the gust of wind that swirled
friendly around Kite before going off, "Goodbye,
Kite.."
When the figure was no longer in sight, Kite's sobs suddenly rang throughout the empty cliff side; Orca and Blackrose had teleported back to the town already. The Twin Blade lifted his hands to cover his face, his knees suddenly giving out on him as he collapsed onto them, crying. He leaned over and pounded the ground harshly, the tears staining the dirt below the azure-haired male. At a loss for words, he stayed there, sobbing loudly for that lost friend...
Where did I go wrong?
I
lost a friend.
Somewhere along in the bitterness.
And
I would have stayed up with you all night.
Had I known how
to save a life...Had I
known..
How to save a life...
