Just a little something I thought of. I don't own twilight.

Edward had a problem. He could remember less and less about his life as human. He couldn't remember what they looked life. He couldn't remember if he resembled his father at all or if he looked more like his mother. So he decided to make a list of ten things that he remembered from his human life.

1. my eyes were green

2. I loved to dance with my mother in the parlor in the evenings

3. I had a huge sweet tooth

4. not that I'll ever tell bella but I was kind of clumsy.

Edward smiled here

5. I had a little brother named Joseph

6. I cried

Here Edward had to suppress the feeling to wipe non existent tears from his eyes. But he went on.

7. I would go and visit my grandparents in the country on their farm

8. I had a dog

9. I would stay up late to tell ghost stories with my little brother until we fell asleep

Edward was at a loss. He couldn't think of a tenth fact from his human life. His parents were good people who loved their children and made sure that we had everything that we needed or wanted. But they also made sure that we knew the value of a dollar and where a little hard work could get us. Then he knew what his last fact was. He smiled as he wrote it down.

10. I had my family and they loved me no matter what

Edward folded up the paper and put it away in the night stand in his room. He heard his daughter let a peal of laughter out of her mouth because of something bella had said. As much as he loved his mother and father he wouldn't give up what he had now. He stood up and walked over to the doorway. Before he left the room he turned and looked back at the night stand. He smiled; Slowly though he left his past behind and turned off the light. He had something good waiting for him just down the stairs.
