This is what I get for waking up too early! lol
The man stared down at the grave before him, close to tears even though he had just arrived.
"Hey, love. I brought you some new flowers," he said, carefully kneeling down to place the red roses at the foot of the stone.
"I know it's been a while, but Kaden is keeping me busy. Between him and the orphanage I barely have enough time to breathe anymore." The figure smiled. "You'd be so proud of him. Kaden looks so much like you, but with my hair color. He has your eyes. Minerva says she'll be surprised if he doesn't beat every record ever set for O.W.L.s when it comes time for him to take them.
"He starts Hogwarts in about 3 more years. Severus and Remus have been teaching him when they're home for the holidays. He's turning out to be quite the little potions student.
"Sev and Re are thinking of adopting one of the kids from the orphanage. They're not quite sure yet, but most of us think they'll do it.
"Ron and Mione are getting married soon. Three weeks, actually. Mione finally finished all of her schooling.
"Blaise and Seamus are happily married as of two months ago. They upped the ceremony by about two months so Seamus wouldn't be showing too badly."
The man looked up at his owl's shrill cry.
"It seems I only have a few more minutes." He began to cry. "I miss you so much. Even the little things, ya know? Sometimes when I wake up I think I hear you breathing beside me and reach for you. I wish you were here, that you could play quidditch with Kaden and teach him how to do that stupid stunt of yours that always scared me so much," he paused. "Ok, maybe not teach him that."
"They're coming."
He looked from the grave to the man standing beside them and nodded.
"Thank you, Blaise."
He watched as Blaise turned around to try and stall the reporters just a little while longer. Sighing, he stood up, gently brushing his hand over the tombstone.
"I'll be back later, love. Maybe these stupid vultures will leave me alone long enough to visit for once." One hand traced over the inscription. "I love you, Draco."
In the forest's edge, a few feet away from the cemetery, a translucent figure watched with sad mercury eyes as his husband walked away.
'I love you too, Harry.'
