Thanks to Mewgia Mirrorcoat for betareading my story!

There was no sign of emotion in his eyes. No sign of humanity; not anger, not sadness, no nothing. It was dull and hollow. Just like the monster that was disappearing, before his eyes, leaving only desert, seclusion, solitude. His fist crashed into the ground, leaving a weak sign of his knuckles. And as his hand raised back to his eyes, wiping away a tear he couldn't remember when he shed, his knees hit the dirt. His chest fell forward, and his tears started running down his cheeks freely.

"Why? Why you?"

His voice was trembling with pain, as if his every bone had just been torn in pieces. And even though he was standing there, in one piece, he felt weak.

"Ichigo..."

Her voice was weak, barely audible. He jolted forward and took her in his arms, raising her head to his chest. His lips touched her forehead, ever-so-slightly.

"Baka..."

He chuckled lightly. Her arms weakly wrapped around his neck, her blood spilling all over his shirt, and she rested. Her eyes fluttered shut, and her body went numb. The last piece of flesh that her head was hanging on tore, and it fell down.

That was the second Ichigo Kurosaki's heart broke.
