This is a Future!Klaine oneshot. Please review; it's my first attempt at Future! and at oneshots.
Kurt was sitting on the counter eating a bowl of cereal when Blaine got home.
"Kurt….it's six at night, and I told you I was bringing home dinner. What's the matter?"
With that, Kurt burst into sobs, crying for all it was worth. Blaine had no idea what could possibly be going on, but he walked over and held Kurt, patting his head, letting him know that he was there.
"I'm so worried about our future. I'm so worried that everything won't turn out the way it should."
"Kurt, baby, don't worry. Everything will work itself out. I can promise you that."
"But I want a baby so badly Blaine. I want us to have a child together and we never can and, do you know how badly that hurts?"
Oh course Blaine knew what Kurt was feeling right now. Of course Blaine understood how difficult it was to face the facts. They could never have one of their own. It just didn't work that way, and they had discussed doing as Rachel Berry's dads had done—mixing their semen together and being left wondering who was the father. But they couldn't do that. If they were going to have a child, they were going to know who the father was.
"What about adoption Kurt?"
Kurt had already thought plenty about adoption. He knew that it was wonderful, being able to take a child that couldn't have had a good home and making their lives wonderful, but he wanted a child of his own. Someone that was genetically his, that could carry on his perfect skin and honey colored hair. Someone with his pointed nose and sharp, distinct features. But he also wanted to care for a smaller version of Blaine, with dark, curly hair, a rounded face and triangle eyebrows.
"Two. That's what we need, we need two."
"Two of what, Kurt?"
"Two children, with the same mother. We use two eggs from the same woman, and you're the father of one and I'm the father of another. It works perfectly Blaine!"
Blaine agreed. This was a good compromise. That way, they could still both be fathers. Kurt threw himself at Blaine.
"I'm going to be a dad!"
It was a feeling like none other, holding his newborn son. Blaine looked down at Keith Hummel-Anderson, and was overcome with emotion. He looked over at Kurt, who was holding his son, Bradford Hummel-Anderson, and couldn't believe how lucky he was to have such wonderful sons and such a wonderful husband.
"My life really can't get any better, can it Kurt?"
"Our lives probably can't get any better Blaine."
