Hello! :3 I realized many people like reading things involving OC's. I personally love reading those myself. xD I decided to write one! Enjoy! :D
Title: A Change of Heart
Couple: LokixOC
~Loki's View~
The day I met her was a day I will never forget. She was perfect in every single way. To me atleast. Her red hair was curled to perfection. I found myself marveling in the odd color. I couldn't think of another Asgardian I knew that had the color. She also had those daring green eyes. Those eyes could stare into your soul and instantly know all your darkest secrets. To be honest, that thought frightened me. Not that I had anything to hide...At the time.
I was eight that summer. I despised the balls that my mother was obsessed with bringing Thor and I to. Thor loved it. He loved the attention he got by his beautiful eyes and hair. All the girls our age were so eager to speak to him, showing off their prissy little gowns. I decided I would just stay in a corner and read until the night was over and I could go back to my room. Yet, as I went to move to the corner, a beautiful lavender lace gown caught my eye.
She was pale and frail-looking, yet in a way she seemed strong in her own way. She was surrounded by people, but none of them were really paying her any mind. Her gaze was aimed at the floor and I found myself hissing at the waste of her beautiful eyes.
I was entranced. Not in just her hair and eyes, but in her entire being. I found myself walking towards her. She caught my glance, her eyes widening at first but gradually calming. She turned towards me, welcoming my advance. I stopped in front of her. I was only a couple inches taller than her.
"You're Prince Loki, aren't you?" she smiled and my heart fluttered. What was wrong with me?
"Y-yes. And you are?" I sputtered. Come on! I'm a Prince! She should be stuttering to me! Not the other way around!
"I'm Avera," her voice was small, yet carried right to my ears.
"Avera," the name felt welcome on my tongue. "Any particular reason you are here? I haven't seen you before."
"Ah," her voice seemed to break as she looked at the ground. "Your father didn't tell you?"
I was bewildered. Just what was my father hiding from me?
At my silence, she let out a little sigh and looked back up at me, choosing her words carefully.
"From this day on, I will be living in the same castle as you."
Okay, so this is one is very short, but I do promise the chapters will be longer! :3
