Rin sat on the kerb with his hands grasped around his face and a long string of swear words spewed from his mouth. What an idiot. He looked over to his poor car where it had crashed into a tree. His mother was going to kill him. He'd only been driving now for a couple of weeks and he'd crashed it.

I guess it wasn't entirely my fault. He thought as he stared down at the pavement thround his fingers, which were a little cut from the windscreen glass. If he hadn't swerved he would have hit that cat that had run across the road. Rin sighed. He guessed dealing with a dead cat would have been worse. His mother and sister would have killed him if that had been the case. He was about to muster up the courage to call his mum for help when he realised a car had pulled up near to where he sat. That's funny. I don't remember hearing a car. I guess I must have zoned out. Rin observed the person carefully as they got out of their car and began walking towards him. Shorter than himself by a bit, with dark hair and blue eyes. Strange, deep blue eyes that made it almost impossible for Rin to cast his gave elsewhere.

"Are you okay?" He began, looking down to Rin who was still sitting on the kerb. His eyes were shining with…what? Concern? Attraction even? Rin couldn't quite make it out, but he knew it was a ridiculous thought to have about someone he'd just met. The stranger reached out his hand to help Rin up.

"I saw you sitting on the kerb with your face in your hands." His voice was soft, but bizarrely monotone. "I wondered if you wanted some help? A lift somewhere perhaps?"

Rin took his hand and was pulled up, noting the fact he was blushing furiously but tried his best to hide it. "A…er…a lift would be great, thank you. I-if you're sure you don't mind, of course?"

"I don't mind." He replied, though his gaze was on Rin's injured hands. Rin let out a very small grunt and hid his hands in the pockets of his hoodie.

"Don't worry, just a few scratches." He said with as much of a convincing smile as he could muster. But the stranger simply took hold of his sleeve and pulled him towards his car.

"I have some antiseptic gel in my car which should help for now. And bandages."

"No, no it's fine- I-"
Before he could finish the stranger was applying the gel to Rin's injured hands and wrapping bandages around them. Rin simply closed his eyes in the hopes 'his rescuer' wouldn't notice how nervy he was. A stranger, fondling his hands. If Gou has been here…oh God.

Soon he was done with the bandages and Rin promptly opened his eyes.

"Where to?" The stranger said, and Rin noted he did so with a very slight, mocking smile.

"Um…well embarrassinly enough it'll have to be my mum's house."
