Tony came home from work, one day. Jeannie was on the couch with her bare left foot on the table.

"Hi, Jeannie."

"Hi, Master. Forgive me for not getting up. I sprained my foot, earlier today."

"Sorry to hear that. How did it happen?"

"I tripped walking down the stairs."

"Can't you just 'blink' it well?"

"It does not work like that, Master. Genies have physical ailments that we cannot automatically fix with our powers."

"I see. Well then, perhaps this will make it better."

He sat on the table next to her foot and began massaging it. "Ow!," she cried out when he rubbed a spot on her ankle.

"Sorry, Jeannie. It will hurt there for a little while. I'll be gentler."

He continued his work. She winced with pain occasionally, but after a few minutes stopped doing this.

"Master, my foot feels much better! Where did you learn to do that?"

"I learned some first aid , as a part of my astronaut training."

"Thank you so much Master! Could you do my other foot, please?"

"Certainly."

She took her right slipper off and put the foot on the table. He also massaged it.

"That feels wonderful, Master! Thank you!"

"You're welcome, Jeannie."

"Oh, but now I feel bad. I am the one who is supposed to take care of you!"

"So, that doesn't mean I should take care of you, too."

"Oh, Master!"

They hugged and she kissed him. Then she got up, still hobbling on the foot.

"Master, tonight I will fix you your favorite meal-leg of lamb!"

"Good girl, you remembered!"

"And I will also wear that dress you love."

She blinked into a yellow dress.

"Very nice! But you're forgetting something."

"I am?"

He pointed down; her feet were still bare!

She giggled. "Oops!"

"That's OK, you don't need shoes. You look kinda cute, barefooted!"

"Oh, Master!"

She hugged him again. They went in the dining room and she blinked the dinner up.

She hobbled for a while, but her foot got better in a couple days.
