(This is a fan fiction of My Little Pony, with new characters by me, and original characters by Hasbro. Hope you enjoy!)

A little pony hid behind the red velvet curtains that hung above a very big stage. It could possibly hold a thousand ponies. She shook where she stood and her eyes where shut tight.
"Aria?" The filly opened her eyes and looked up. It was her older sister Melody, the familiar face calmed her down a bit. She didn't shake as much.
"Don't be nervous sweetie, remember, sing like no one is listening." Aria's big sister always told her that, she loved to sing, always has but she just couldn't sing in front of any pony.
But even though Aria wanted to curl up in a ball, she unclenched her hooves from the curtain and rubbed her nose against Melody's.
"Thank you sissy." She said.
"You're welcome. Oh, the show's about to start! Find me in the audience, you'll do great!" Melody kissed her sister's cheek and ran off the stage.
"Aria!" Her choir coach Mrs. Mint Note whispered. "Get into your position."
Aria rushed to her stop on stage.
Once the curtains opened wide, Aria started to shake again. She swallowed hard.
This is the worst past about singing...she thought. I don't like any pony staring at me.
A soft melody began to play, and Aria tried to sing out, she was so nervous that her voice cracked.
Her fellow choir members looked up at her, trying to tell her to stop singing. Aria caught the message and just lip synced the rest of the song, and continued to for the other few songs.

Applause thundered in the room, the curtains closed and Aria felt relived, she let out a sigh.
"Aria, what are you doing? Get back on the stage." Said Mrs. Mint.
"Oh...no." Aria completely forgot that about her solo. Her legs began to tremble uncontrollably. She never had a solo before, where she sung all by herself, in front of many other ponies.
"Aria, please!" Mrs. Mint nudged her to the stage.
The curtains opened up, and the spotlight shone on Aria. She wanted to run off the stage and cry, but she knew she couldn't.
She took a look at the crowd and a wave of dizziness came upon her.
A beautiful piece played, Aria sang out a few words and her voice was cracking again. She stopped singing, she wanted to run to badly but her legs wouldn't let her. The pianist stopped playing and looked at Aria with worry along with the rest of the crowd.
Aria closed her eyes, and soon opened them. She spotted Melody giving her a friendly smile. Aria smiled back, and looked over at the pianist and nodded.
The song started from the beginning.
Aria sung her heart out, her voice became the most pure as it ever was before. She sang like a sweet little angel.
The crowd was in awe as they listened to the beautiful singing.

The song ended and all at once every pony stood up and clapped their hooves and cheered!
Aria opened up her eyes and suddenly stopped shaking all together and showed a great big smile.
"Take a bow!" Mrs. Mint said from behind the curtain.
Aria bowed and when she looked back up, her cutie mark appeared!
"Ooh!" The ponies in the audience went.
Aria turned to look at get flank.
"My cutie mark!" She screamed. Her cutie make looked like a heart filled with tiny music notes inside of it.
"Eeeeh!" Aria squealed. She was so happy to finally have her cutie mark.
"Anchor! Anchor!" A gentle pony shouted.
"Sing!" The crowd said.
Aria stood in front of the audience in tears, she quickly wiped them away and sang out full of confidence this time.
She sang and sang throughout that delightful night.
