„Dean, wait!"
Dean turned, smiling at his ten year old brother, who came hurriedly down the stairs after him. "What's up, squirt? Miss me already?"
"No, I…" Sam stood, looking at the ground. "You'll come back for me, won't you?", he blurted out.
His brother shook his head, amused. "When did we ever not, Sammy? Dad and I will have taken care of that Poltergeist in less than a day. You'll have us back sooner than you'd like, you'll see."
"I don't want you to leave at all!", Sam cried, tears in his big round eyes. "The last time you went away you we're sick afterwards."
"It was a mild concussion", Dean stated calmly. "It's not as if it was that dangerous, little brother."
"But I…"
Dean let his hand rest on his brother's shoulder reassuringly. "You'll be fine, Sam. Now go crush that test you were talking of. You better get an A and… whoa, whoa", Dean interrupted himself when his brother suddenly embraced him tight. "What did I tell you about man to man touch?"
"I'll miss you", Sam cried in his brother's shirt.
And Dean closed his eyes and returned the hug. "Me too, Sammy, me too."
