Hi, my name is Chase Boyd and I have been hiding a secret most people would be scared of having. Most people would have keeled under the pressure, but I didn't because I knew if I did, someone besides me would get hurt and I couldn't stand having anyone else get hurt. I knew that knowing this secret could possibly get me killed but I didn't care. Because in knowing this secret I was making sure no one else was hurt and that he didn't hurt anyone else. In knowing this secret, I was keeping a murderer off the streets and in my own home. My father was a murderer and I could barely stand staying within the same room as him.
That was the problem with this whole living in Glenoak and all. Everybody and anybody that knew me were at risk of being his next victim. Wherever we go, someone ends up dead and he's always managed to get someone else thrown in jail for his crimes. Not this time. I was not going to let him hurt anyone in this community, even if it meant throwing my own father in jail, then that's what I would do. This time, the victims would have a say in what happened to their killer and I would be that name, if it came down to it. If my father decided to kill someone here, I would have to change the way I thought, the way I acted and the way I lived just to save another human beings life and that was not going to be easy, not by a long shot.
