"Now you can't tell anyone about it, understand." " Yes, mother I understand." " Good." Mother stood up and headed for the door she looked over her shoulder. Her expression turned serious " Don't let anyone know" then she smiled " I'll be home by midnight." She closed the door after her and I eagerly sat by it playing with my necklace.
