One night with a King

Aragorn groaned as he was walking to the palace in tunndir to talk to the "King". Of course he didn't believe the elf. Legolas loved teasing him and he thought this was another prank of the Elf's. He climbed up the long stairs and passed Mia who was reading as always
She has no idea who her family was and Aragorn was going to help her remember her past.
Mia smiled at Aragorn and waved at him. Her smile brightened any room, and the young Dunadan looked up to Aragorn. He looked after her for he had been in her shoes. He passed Mia and patting her on the back.
He opened the door with a creek and he heard something that shocked him.
"a voice"
"Come Forth Son of Arathorn" it said with a soft voice
Aragorn walked slowly to the room and saw a figure hunched of over a desk the room was big it had a huge desk and a bed near by but he also saw bandages covered in blood.
"The Leper king of Arnor" Aragorn thought
"I'm Glad to see you in one piece Estel I've heard about your quarrel with the Blackwolds"
"King Baedwin IV Stood up from his desk, Looked Aragorn in the eyes now smiling"
"King Baedwin" Aragorn bowed as he spoke and Baedwin chuckled"
"Do not bow to me Estel We are kin You and I" The King Replied
"Baedwin was a tall man a strong sense to him like the kings of old (that he was) and only thing Different was he was wearing a mask over his face probably so the enemy could not know of his existence besides that he wore gloves on his hands and also wore a Royal Rangers Garb White as the tree of gondor. But over all a Dunadan for sure"
"Baedwin walked up to Aragorn and patted him on the back"
"Come Sit with me I have much to teach you"

"So you knew my father"
"I did he was a good man, Araphor loved Your father too"
"My Master knew him?"
Baedwin and Aragorn sat eating dinner Baedwin had taken his mask off The king had a scar on his lip and one near his eye. The King looked at Aragorn and smiled.
"You know you are not alone in this.."
"I don't want you to get hurt"
"Baedwin chuckles"
"I wouldn't feel it anyway"
"Oh.." Aragorn slaps himself mentally for being so stupid
"So who's your father Baedwin?" He asks a little cautiously trying not to saddened the king
"Arvedui was my father and I ruled after him in the shadows my brother Aranath ruled the refuges of our people from cardolan and other Dunadan lands to the north" The King replied with pride you could tell he loved his family.
"Aragorn I wish to tell you something my father told me"
"He once told me that isildur made a treaty with the anui people and that the king of the anui told isildur a kings duty must be to protect his people and love his enemy's regardless of who they were and remember this We will for fill our oath even if it takes a thousand years and so thousands of years later Araphor was born and he has help lead the dunedain you'd do well to follow in his foot steps.
"I will remember these words my lord" Aragorn says with joy
And as he left He heard Baedwin say, "Your going to make one great king my friend"
Aragorn left knowing he would never forget this moment between him and the King of Arnor
