**Disclaimer**
This is the 6th episode of 11. For the full experience begin your journey with Episode 1: Wasted Potential.
This is not real. I do not own the Supernatural Universe or any of the characters. This is strictly just for fun, and what I thought could be a good final season for the show. However, I will say this story is post season 9. There could be potential spoilers for those who have not watched the show up to that point. Also since the show is still going I will do my best to stay consistent with what I've seen. However, keep in mind this story was originally created after the 9th season. And since my favorite seasons were 1-5 this will be an extension of that storyline.
Enjoy.
Episode 6: O Brother, Where Art Thou?
The Gardener
THEN:
In the last episode James collected the rings from all four horsemen. Not long afterwards the Horseman of Death explains to Dean and Sam that James was the angel who first created the rings to begin with.
In season five Sam and Dean stop the apocalypse by putting Lucifer back in his cage. Unfortunately as a result Sam, Adam and the archangel Michael, end up trapped inside with Lucifer.
In season six Dean makes a deal with Death to rescue Sam's soul from the cage. When Sam remembers what happened his mind temporarily fractures into pieces until he recovers.
NOW:
The Garden of Heaven
Scared and unsure of himself, James calls to Joshua. "I don't think I can do this."
At the sound of his little brother's voice Joshua stops tending to garden. "What's wrong James? Could you not acquire the keys?"
James shakes his head. "No, that's not it. I have the keys. It was no trouble at all."
"Then what's the problem," Joshua asks.
"I'm afraid…" James begins. "I'm afraid of what may happen if I fail."
Joshua puts an arm around his brother to comfort him. "You'll do just fine," he assures James. "This assignment has been in the works for years. And we've taken all the necessary precautions. There's no need to be afraid. You are supposed to fail. And you will fail exactly as we have planned."
"Alright," James answers more confidently. "Then I guess it's time to let Michael know I'm coming."
Joshua nods while retrieving a chalice filled with blood. "It's time."
This is just the intro for Episode 6 of 11. Every episode will be around 5 chapters each. I wanted to write the intro for each episode, so when it comes time to write the whole thing, each episode will be prepped and ready to go. When I do begin Episode 6 I will repost the full length version of this chapter.
