Happy was working at her desk, all her tools around her space. Toby across the Garage talking with Cabe and Sly. Everyone else was at their desks and it had been a quiet day.
The Garage door opened and a man walked in. Happy knew who he was instantly.
"Get Out." Happy growled.
Everyone was staring. Toby was highly concerned about his wife. She was pale and shaking.
"Happy if would just hear me out…"
"Get Out!" Happy screamed.
"I'm doing this next step program and came to apologize for…"
"I said leave!"
Cabe decided to intervene. "What's going on Happy?"
"Get him out Cabe!" Happy was close to tears.
"I just want to apologize" the man pleaded.
Sly, Cabe, Walter stood and forced the man out locking the door. Toby ran across the garage and over to his wife. She was holding it together.
"Happy who was…" before Toby could finish Happy turned and fell apart in sobs. Toby held her close to his chest. "Shhhhh it's alright. I'm here for you sweetheart." He held onto her and she clung to him. Her tears subsided after a few minutes. She pulled her face away from his chest slowly, sniffling.
"You okay baby?" Toby asked. Happy nodded and everyone watched. "Who was that?" Toby asked carefully.
"He was this guy from high school. I think he came to apologize because he did something really bad to me."
"What did he do?" Toby asked carefully.
"Cheated on me with 7 other girls just so he could pass his classes and I called him out on it. Ruined his life. Then he abusively attacked me."
"Oh Happy"
"Why don't you take her home, Doc" Cabe suggested.
"Come on Happy." Toby said with a hand on her back. He grabbed their bags and walked out to the car. Without a word Happy got into the passenger seat. Toby always knew when Happy didn't feel well or was upset. She sat quietly as he drove.
Once they got inside Happy walked into their bedroom shedding all her clothes. Once she was naked she crawled into bed, covering her head with their big fluffy red comforter. Happy was curled into a ball. Toby had just watched her.
"Happy please talk to me. Don't shut me out."
"Then get naked and join me." Happy mumbled from under the comforter.
"Happy, this is not the best time for sex."
"Not sex, just married, naked cuddling." Happy mumbled.
"Okay but if my something raises, just know that I can't control it."
"I understand, Tobes." Happy said with a hint of a smile in her voice.
Toby shed his clothes and climbed in next to her. She wrapped her naked legs around his naked waist and he wrapped her in his arms. It must have been hours before either spoke. After 3 hours of holding each other and sleeping. Then Happy awoke. She saw part of him was awake and wanting to play. He hadn't been wrong. She decided to wake him up. An orgasm would be a good distraction and stress relief. She kissed his neck and laid a hand on his thigh. Toby began to stir. He woke up and looked at his wife.
"What's are you doing Happy."
