At last, the heavy pressures of Amon and the Equalists were gone, lifted up off her shoulders, and Korra was finally, once again, able to truly and genuinely relax.

They had moved back to Republic City once Korra had regained her bending abilities and was able to Energy-Bend. Mako and Bolin stayed at Air Temple Island as the arena was renovated.

Reconstructing. The entire city was being reborn. As the Avatar attended different conferences and held speeches, the anger of the non-benders slowly began to cease.

Improving. Mako and Korra deepened their relationship, and when the Pro-Bending arena was open again, Korra spent a lot of time in their attic, which over time became bright and cozy. The Fire Ferrets were excelling in Pro-Bending matches, and often hung around after practices to grab a bite.

Normality. Slowly, but steadily, Korra's life was being somewhat normal. Mako was sweet and kind and gentle to her, although it took a while for her to melt his frozen, iron heart. The consistency brought a nice sense of peace to her heart, and the thought that she would always have friends there for her brought a warm and tingling sensation to trickle down her spine. Republic City was born anew, and all was well.
