Mother's Calling!
Kadaj was taking the day off, hiding in some random basement away from his brothers. He had recently gotten addicted to the DS game Pokémon Heart Gold. He wasn't very far into the game, he only had three Pokémon and they were in poor health. Within his game he rushed to the Pokémon Center, to get them healed by Nurse Joy.
He didn't get why she told him that she hoped to see him again. Wasn't it bad if his precious Pokémon were injured? But he didn't pay much attention to that; he was too busy having fun for once. As he set out to train and catch more Pokémon though, his PokéGear went off.
The text on the screen said the call was from Mother. Kadaj's eyes were wide with happiness. He jumped, completely forgetting the low ceiling. "Mother is calling!" he exclaimed and ran to find his brothers. Once he did, he told them that Mother was calling him, completely forgetting it was just a video game.
They were all excited, until Kadaj pointed to the screen, Yazoo smacked it to the ground, and Loz was crying. Kadaj looked horrified as he dropped to the ground, picking up his now broken DS. "Mother!" the leader of the remnants shouted to the sky, "Forgive me for not answering Mother!"
Yazoo sighed with a slight facepalm and mocked Loz for crying at the false hope. While Kadaj still cried for his mother to forgive him…
Author's Note: I'm pretty sure my friend was the one that got me to add this to my list because she was playing either Heart Gold or Soul Silver and her DSi is named Yazoo(mine is Kadaj and another one of my friend's is Loz XD) and soooo yeah!
