The rally
Max's pov
"Hey max look down there" angel said to me as we flew over a place called Walton middle school there was some sort of rally going on down there. we could'nt hear it from up here so we landed in the cover of the school building when we landed i instantly thought to angel to cover her ears. this guy used words that kids go there whole lives without hearing and use them he did.
Billy's pov
"Bird kids? What the hell are bird kids? The media is coming up with this bullshit about bird kids instead of giving us the truth. Look at the papers all over America. The front page is bird kids and more bird kids nothing about the war in Iraq or Bush messing up in office. This country needs the truth the government has fucked up everything. If we had the truth we could help. To the truth!" I got tons of cheering from the crowd I looked over at my girlfriend and smiled everything seemed to be a huge sauce's and the after party will be even better. OK so I was lying, the are bird kids hell I am even one of them, but since the flock has fucked up our cover our cover to the world i have the job of convincing them it is all lies one huge difference between me and the flock. My wings catch on fire when I am angry it does not't hurt but it causes the erasers pain plus it does not't help being a werewolf also. I looked out in the crowd next to my girl friend was six homeless kids who were about about as gnarly as the sewage plant in Charlottesville. the flock. man i knew they were on a limited budget but even i can afford better clothes then them. I got off the stage to go meet my girl friend. On the way to see her i ran into some random Jamaican dude. he fell down and landed on a rock he got up and started screaming. "What the fuck man? Are you fucking retarded? You know what just go to hell you damn son of a bitch." He ran away after that. i just pretended like nothing had happened. i ran up to my girlfriend and gave a kiss. then turned around and yelled to everyone who was still there "Hey stick around and stay for the after party." then I turned to the flock and asked them if they wanted to go to the after party
Max's pov
The teenager turned to the crowed and yelled " hey stick around and stay for th after party ." Then he turned to us and said "hey my names Billy you guys want to join us".
"Give us a sec" I replied then turned into the flock they all said yes except Angel.i turned around and asked her whats wrong and she said.
"He knows who we are". i looked at her stunned. then i turned to them and said okay revote they still all said yes.then it's decided. I thought. I turned around and said sure. He told us to follow him.
Billy's pov
They all said yes. I offered to show them the way to the bar since they looked new in town as we started walking toward the bar I told max to keep the kids away from the beer.
