Naruto Wood Style Challenge
So, it's come to the point where I am almost certain I will never be able to finish my stories. Not to mention I need to focus on building my own ideas for my own original story. For that reason, I want to make sure my stories continue. Rather than allow it to be adopted by someone, and unsure how they will handle it, I've opted to create a challenge so I can dictate the rules as well as so it is not solely in the hands of one author. This is the solution I feel is most fair to my readers. Without further ado, here are the guidelines, rules, and outline for the challenge. If anyone taking up this challenge has any questions or would like access to my plans for characters or the timeline I've created, feel free to PM me. I've got plenty of files and am more than willing to share them.
Outline: Sixty-eight years before the start of Naruto canon, Hashirama Senju and Mito Uzumaki have a second child. And she grows up to give birth to the man that would become the Fourth Hokage. With him being the last male heir to one of the two founding clans, his existence is hidden. Not even the Third Hokage knows the true identity of his predecessor's heir. At least, not until Naruto Uzumaki awakens his Great-Grandfathers Wood Style kekkei genkai. For the boy who grew up alone and wondering who he was, the revelation of his heritage gives him a purpose. To restore his clan to prominence, and live up to the names of those that came before him. He is joined in this quest by his best friend Sasuke Uchiha, and together they hope to become the best tag team in the Hidden Leaf's history. The only question is, can the upbeat presence of a more competent and intelligent Naruto keep Sasuke from falling to the Curse of Hatred? Maybe the bigger mystery, is can Naruto figure out this whole situation with girls? Between his first sensei and his number one fan, he sure has quite the decision to make. Or does he . . .?
Requirements:
– Naruto MUST be the great-grandson of Hashirama.
– Naruto MUST have the Wood Style kekkei genkai.
– Yamato MUST be a woman in this, younger, and paired with Naruto.
– Naruto has to be relatively light-hearted and fun-loving, similar to his great-grandfather.
– Sasuke is Naruto's best friend, and not as "uptight" as in cannon.
– Naruto's goal is being Hokage.
– Ino is Naruto's biggest fan, but not your typical fangirl.
Forbidden:
– Absolutely NO BASHING. Characters can argue or call each other names, but no character should exist for the sole purpose of being insulted and made to look foolish and evil. In this particular story, Sasuke, Sakura, or Ino bashing especially.
– NO civilian council.
– Mobs chasing Naruto to try and beat him up, nobody calling him "Demon" or "Monster". The Third Hokage's law is very clear on references to Naruto's connection to the Nine-Tails.
– Evil or Dark Naruto.
– The Third Hokage CANNOT be evil or dark.
– Anti-Leaf Village.
Optional:
– Double pairing with Naruto x Fem-Yamato x Ino. Three girls paired with him at most. I suppose it could be a max of five, but please make it as realistic as five girls sharing one guy can get. For all of my stories I had planned plenty of build to the double or triple pairings, filled with various obstacles and ups and downs.
– Naruto and Fem-Yamato having different "styles" of Wood Style. E.g., Yamato using Sakura trees or something similar.
– Sasuke not going to Orochimaru or going dark, or otherwise being coerced into joining him.
