Lily skateboarded slowly to the pier and was on the verge of tears. "Why am I so ugly?" Lily asked out loud. The city lights gleamed in the background as she stopped at the pier and looked into the dark water below. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." A voice called with a strong southern accent.

"Who said that?" Lily said whipping around fast. Their was no one in sight. Lily leaned over the pier and climbed onto the bar and almost dropped her grip when someone grabbed her shoulder and whispered "You jump and you'll never know the gift God has planned for you."

The person then disappered and Lily was shaking. "All right, what is going on here?" Lily asked into the darkness. "Babygirl, you almost killed yourself because you thought you were ugly, but God made you like a rose, beautiful with self." The person said.

"Show yourself!" Lily yelled. "Ok you got it!" The person said and a shadowy figure appeared. "Why can't I see you?" Lily asked. "Because it's dark, and I don't dignify myself to just anyone." The person said. "Well can I at least know your name?" Lily asked.

"It's Reba, Reba Hart." Reba said. "Why won't you show yourelf?" Lily asked. "Because, I can't, but I will, because I was sent on a speacial mission, and I need your help." Reba said.

"Ok well let's see you." Lily said taking a step back. Reba took a deep breath and walked out of the darkness. Reba was a redheaded woman with emarld green eyes and semi tan skin, and Lily was awestricken.

"You're beautiful, why wouldn't you show yourself?" Lily asked. "I'll show you." Reba turned and she moved a strand of hair behind her ear and a scratch covered the entire half of her face, from ear to cheekbone.

"What happened to you?" Lily asked. "I was killed, the person I love tried to save me with everything he had, but it was to late, the car had made contact and it couldn't be taken back." Reba explained.

"What is that gift you were talking about?" Lily asked. "Honey, earlier today you looked at your best friend's brothre with love in your eyes, but you saw him with someone else and that broke your heart, believe you me, I know that same feeling." Reba finished.

"And that still doesn't explain why you're here." Lily said. "I am here to show you what your life would be like without you, so let's go." Reba motioned for Lily to follow. Lily stayed a few feet back and Reba wiped the air with her hand and stepped into a blue fog, with Lily at her heels.

Before I get asked a lot of questions, yes Reba Hart is a real person, she was played by Reba McEntire on the show Reba, so R&R and I'll love you for life!
