Neil liked to proclaim his love for Todd. "I love you!" he would declare across the tables at breakfast. "Todd, I love you!" he would yell, through the halls between classes. He would do it as he passed the bathroom where Todd would be brushing, and again as a goodnight before Todd went to bed. "I love you!" He shouted it from the rooftops, and from across the football pitch outside. He loved Todd Anderson and he would have told the world if he could.

Todd liked to whisper his love back. "I love you," he would mutter before asking for the butter at lunch. "Neil, I love you," he would mumble amidst the bustle before class began. He would do it in the dead of the night, just before Neil fell asleep, and in the morning when Neil was barely awake. "I love you." He whispered it into his pen, onto the pages in his book and to the empty bed that lay across from him. He loved Neil Perry, and he would have told him again if he could.

Thank you for reading! Any reviews and criticism welcome! Not a well thought out piece at all, but I needed to get the angst out of me from watching Dead Poets Society(I am SAADD) so here ya go. I am sleep deprived(literally have not slept in the last 24 hours so my language is off), suck at grammar, and have not done any spell checking beyond the level of google docs but it's just a few words so whatever.
