It's 7:00PM in LA, Connie is in LA working late. She feels all alone, She misses Mike and has feelings for him. She picks up her phone and decides to call Mike, Mike Cutter the lawyer she worked with as an ADA. She needs to tell him something that has been eating her up inside, she scrolls through her phone and finds Mike's contact she clicks on his contact and then she hears the ring of her phone, she is surprised when she hears Mike pick up the phone right away

"Hi Connie" Mike said "What's Up?"

"Just feeling all alone here in LA" Connie said

"I wish you were back in New York" Mike said

"I wish I was too, I kind of wondered why I was in LA in the first place" Connie said

"Connie, you did the right thing, your mom is sick and you knew in your right mind that it was the right thing to do" Mike said

"She's telling me I should go back to New York, I want to come back to New York" Connie said

"Connie there is something I need to tell you" Mike said

"There is something I need to tell you to" Connie said

"Well" Mike said nervously

"I want to say this before you do but I have feelings for you and I can't seem to get the thought of you and me out of my head" Connie said

"I was going to say the same thing" Mike said

"You're a thousand miles away but Connie you're so pretty even if you're in LA" Mike then said

"You're a sweet talker Mike Cutter. I'm moving back to New York in 2 weeks, I got a job offer for intel in New York" Connie said

"I'm excited about that, we'll finally be together again" Mike said

"They've got trains, planes and cars I would walk to LA if I had the chance to see you again because 2 weeks is too long my feet would hurt" Mike then said

"If you walked from New York to LA I would laugh at you" Connie said

"I would laugh at myself too" Mike said

"I should let you go, It is 10PM in New York" Connie said

"I love you Connie" Mike said

"I love you too Mike" Connie said

Connie was surprised that she said I love you to Mike. She never thought she would have feelings for Mike of all people. She knew that she was always in love with Mike. Mike was surprised to say I love you to Connie. He never thought he would have feelings for Connie of all people. He knew that he was always in love with Connie.

Mike opened his desk drawer. There on the right side laid a blue box Mike picked it up and said "She doesn't know I bought this, I've bought this ring on our first date when she told me she was going to LA" he then opened the box and said "2 weeks, should I ask her right there in the airport?" He asked to himself. He was curious but he wanted to be with Connie for the rest of his life.
