"Welcome to Tacoma Mrs. Leblanc," said Trevor as they pulled into the driveway to their house in Fort Lewis.
"Whoa, nice house," said TJ.
"Bigger than the one in Charleston," agreed Finn.
"Boys, why don't you guys check out the house and decide what rooms you want. Just remember that the room closest to the master bedroom will be for Wyatt and Drew."
"Okay Dad," the boys said and ran into the house.
Trevor turned around to face his wife, "So what do you think babe?"
Roxy looked around the new neighborhood, "It's nice it's just…"
"It's just what?" asked Trevor wrapping his arm around her.
Roxy started to tear up, "It's just so far away from my friends. It won't be the same not seeing Claudia Joy and Denise and Jackie and Gloria and Roland every day."
"Hey, it's okay," said Trevor, "You'll make new friends."
"But I'll never have better friends than them," said Roxy.
"You don't know that," said Trevor, "But I understand. It's your first PCS. You're scared. And don't think this isn't just as hard on me."
"How?" asked Roxy.
"You think I'm not upset not seeing certain people every day. I've worked with General Holden, General Clarke, Colonel Burton, Colonel Sherwood, PFC Cruz, and Captain Galassini for six years," said Trevor, "Even though we had to be serious, I guess you could say we were all friends."
"I guess you're right," sighed Roxy, "I just miss them that's all."
"I know I miss them too," said Trevor, "But there is some good to come out of this move."
"What's that babe?" questioned Roxy.
"Being in Washington means we're closer to California," said Trevor.
"So?" asked Roxy halfheartedly.
"It means we're closer to Chase and Pamela." Roxy beamed, "I knew that would make you feel better." Just then, the couple heard arguing from the house and the twins started to fuss.
"Well a new home, four boys, new lives. You ready?" asked Trevor apprehensively.
"Yes now I am," said Roxy confidently as they took Wyatt and Drew and entered their new house and their new lives.
The End!
Hope you enjoyed it!
