The Wheel
In the land where the Shadow creeps
and chokes the Light away,
A lone man stands against the tide,
his sword blazing as day.
The Wheel of Time will always turn
and Ages come and pass
Legends fade to myths unknown
yet he is not surpassed.
But then the Shadow breaks the chains,
the seven seals that caged
So the Dragon must be Reborn,
and the child must be aged.
The battle ensues and I step back
as someone calls my name
Reluctantly, I close the book
'til I return the their world again.
