The Cat and The Bat
A/N: so this is my first Catwoman/Batman related story. I am gradually updating my stories one by one and I'm thinking of writing a glee story, so all of my readers please bear with me. So without further ado, on with my one shot….
Her name was Selina by day, Selena Kyle; the femme fatale of Gotham City, enough to eat any man's heart out.
She had everything the looks, the hair, the voice, but it wasn't good enough for her. She needed the thrill, the adrenaline rush; the feeling of being alive, that's how the cat was born.
It began one night when she was nearly mugged. If she hadn't of defended herself, she could've been hospitalized or worse…killed. Thanks to her skill in gymnastics and self-defence lessons; she apprehended the man that was nearly her attacker, by the time she made it home she had a realisation that she had got such a thrill out of the whole predicament that she had to experience more. That was how the cat suit came into the picture.
Knowing that she was going to have to come up with a new identity; Selena created a sexy, flexible costume out of spandex as well as a mask and ears to go with it. Slipping on that outfit for the first time made Selena feel like a whole other woman; she felt confident, secure and in control…exactly the kind of thing Gotham needed nowadays. She was also intrigued about this mysterious batman that had been purging crime in the city recently; she knew then that once he had met her, then he would've met his match…
And boy was she right.
They met on her first night as the cat, scouting the terrain that was the rooftops of Gotham City, there she was and then all of a sudden; there was he.
"It's a little late to be dressing up for Halloween don't you think?" he asked her with a smirk. "Tsk Tsk, I could ask you the same thing stud" replying back with a hint of sexiness in her voice. "I think that it would be dangerous for a woman such as yourself to be so high up here; so why don't you do us both a favour, come down and go straight home" he countered with a serious tone.
"And here I was thinking that we were hitting it off like a house on fire" she replied back, sauntering her way up to him licking her lips "However handsome, I'd have to decline your offer" and with that she gave him a full on kiss on the lips, making sure she would mesmerise him. After a few seconds he began to respond and deepen the kiss, 'Now this is much better' Selena thought before pulling away, giving one of her breath-taking smiles and walking away.
"Hmm… I'll catch you later handsome; I have some other business to attend to" she said before disappearing into the night with a flick of her whip, leaving the bat on the roof with nothing but a smile on his face!
A/N: so there you have it. This is my take on how batman and Catwoman first met. As I said before, this is my first batman/Catwoman related story and hopefully it is a good read for you all. Catwoman is my favourite character from the batman franchise and I love the whole relationship she has with Bruce/batman. I am soo looking forward to The Dark Knight Rises and to seeing Anne Hathaway's take on the character, growing up Michelle Phfeiffer was my personal favourite but I have recently watched Julie Newmar's Catwoman and I loved it, so I'm torn between the two. Hopefully Anne will be a good Catwoman.
Right now I am updating about 3 stories at once, as it is Easter weekend; I don't have to be in work til Tuesday so I am doing some much needed updating.
