Sam's been away three months by now and it has been harder than any time Dad had been on some hunt without a call or message for his sons. He wasn't angry, not like he thought he'd be. Just tired and all by himself on the road. Dean could call him and ask Sam to tell him about everything but he didn't. Not even his number or next destination did he leave. Obviously Sam knew how to find him anyway he guessed when he received a letter at the reception. He never opened it but it stayed in the compartment.
