This is a oneshot and I know this prompt has been done to death, but I couldn't help writing my own version of this. I am probably going to be doing more oneshots because if I wrote a multichaptered fic I would simply just run out of ideas, but I could try one in the future. The time frame is the summer after regionals so maybe a few weeks into summer vacation. I'm not really sure when Rachel and Jesse would have slept together for this to work, but it definitely happened before Funk, so we're going to pretend that I'm right. Sorry in advance for any spelling and grammatical errors. ENJOY!

She couldn't believe her eyes. She gawked at the little plus sign as if it were a ticking time bomb. That's when the first sob escaped from her lips.

How could this have happened? They had used protection that one and only night they had gotten together. They had been so careful yet she felt as if the tiny person inside of her was the reason her life was ruined forever.

Rachel dropped the little white stick on the ground and plopped down on the toilet seat and placed her hands on her flat stomach. Pretty soon she could not keep herself from bursting into tears.

.*******************

It had happened 2 months ago, Jesse St. James was the love of her life. When she told him she was ready to have sex he seemed ecstatic but he still made sure before they started ripping off their clothes that she was absolutely ready to give herself to him fully.

He was such a gentleman that night and Rachel knew that it would be the most magical evening of her life.

That was until the egging, when Jesse went back to them. She saw the pained look in his eyes as he cracked that egg on her forehead that made her want to break down in tears. She stayed strong because she had to.

And to think that all went down while she was carrying Jesse's child was just heartbreaking.

Rachel hadn't spoke to Jesse since then, and she knew it was for the best.

Rachel knew it was a matter of time before someone came over to her house to see if she hadn't died.

"Rachel?" she heard Quinn shout, slamming the door behind her.

Rachel couldn't help but feel jealous of how great Quinn had looked after giving birth to Beth when she finally walked through the bathroom door to find Rachel slouched over on the toilet, her eyes red and puffy. She knew in a few months time, she would have a big round ballooning stomach.

The 2 girls had become friends after finding out that New Directions wasn't going to be cut from the school.

By now Quinn had noticed the white stick on the ground where Rachel had dropped it and bent over to pick it up, examining it closely. She dropped it to the ground just like Rachel and covered her mouth with her hand in shock,

"Oh my gosh, Rachel, you're pregnant!" she gasped.

"I know," was all she said as a fresh new stream of tears poured down her cheeks.

"What are you going to do?"

"I have no idea."

"Well, you have to tell Jesse."

That made Rachel cry even harder just thinking about the things Jesse had done to her. She didn't know what kind of reaction to expect from Jesse but it was worth a shot.

She stood up from her position on the toilet seat and whispered,

"Okay, let's call him."

Now Rachel and Quinn were huddled on Rachel's bed, bent over her cell phone as she dialed Jesse's number and put it on speaker. He picked up on the second ring,

"Rachel?" he sounded confused.

"Hi Jesse, I have somehing to tell you..." she wasn't sure how to say it.

"It's okay Rach, whatever it is, you can tell me."

"Jesse, I'm pregnant."
