Fingerprints are a big part of her job. She loves the idea of them. Each print completely unique; each loop, each whorl, each arch a clue. It makes no difference whether a print is nearly invisible or made stark black with indelible ink. Either way it's a mark of one who's come before. She knows with complete certainty that Kate's print would be visible on her heart. She's beginning to think maybe Ziva's might, too.
