A poem about Anakin's downfall. Emotions bottled together, and Palpatine's influence was too much. He was destined to join the Dark Side; it was drawing him in.

Closer

Take all the shadows away

And I'd shine just like the stars

Tell me why I act crazy

The more I hate,

The more I love

What wants to own me,

Control me,

Comes closer.

Until I'm threatening

Until I fight

And driven to act this way

But I don't stop

As I can't stop

No way to stop

As I can't stop.

Would you ever stop and think?

Do you know just who you are?

When you'll hurt just anything,

But is it worth hurting those you love?

As they control me

The Force withholds me,

As you watch it come closer,

Closer,

Comes closer.

Until fate is fed

And you're filled with rage

Taking steps no one should take

But can you stop?

How can you stop?

How do I stop

Making lives stop?
