Everyone stared in wave to the two figures descending in the devastated room, one enveloped in multicolored light and the other in pitch-black darkness.
The light figure was female, hair tied in twintails that faded to brown and red, and the eyes that when opened had purple irises.
Akaba Ray.
The dark figure was male, spiked up hair that light up in silver and green, and eyes that glinted yellow before flashing red.
Zarc.
The two teens suddenly slumped in the ground, not used to having control of a material body. The four bracelets jingled on Ray's right arm as she struggled to get up.
«And so, since your plan is ruined, you're trying to start it again from scratch, huh?»
The young woman turned to the young man in confusion. «W-what?»
Zarc grinned darkly as he tried to lift himself up with his arms. «Don't play dumb with me, you little bitch. I see what you were doing.»
He pointed an accusatory finger to her.
«Since erasing me wasn't humiliating enough, you wench decided to rip me in pieces, and then do the same for yourself, so that you could torment me!»
«What the hell are you talking about!?» groaned Ray with a stare.
«I'M TALKING ABOUT YOUR FUCKING PIECES TRYING TO CORRUPT MY OWN!» he exploded. «You were staining my pure soul with those disgusting and shameless acts of flirting!» he added, with an expression that clearly spelt "out of mind".
Ray flinched, the feelings of her fading pieces resonating with his words.
«You slut sent yours tried to seduce mine, to tame them like pets, to make sure they would obey you and not revive me... BUT IT DIDN'T WORK!»
He was grinning like a madman as he finally stood up.
«It would have never worked, as the fact that right now I'm standing demonstrates! And I can assure you my pieces from Standard, Xyz, and Synchro are disgusted for finding out this!»
«YOU'RE LYING!» Before she could stop herself, these words came of Ray's mouth in a broken tone with three different voices, neither one Ray's.
«Well, I AM DISGUSTED!» He roared as a large yellow Duel Disk sprang to life on his left arm, and he held up four cards: Odd-Eyes, Dark Rebellion, Clear Wing, Starve Venom. «DUEL ME! With those four Dragon, the very souls of my pieces that you tried to taint like a whore, I'll destroy you and these worlds once for all, like everyone wanted!» he declared before shuffling Odd-Eyes in the Main Deck and adding the others to the Extra Deck.
Ray stood up as well, not intimidated at all by his harsh words. She tried to ignored the sobs echoing in her mind as she armed her own pink-bladed Duel Disk out of thin air.
