All those days watching from the window
All those years outside looking in

Kendra watched in horror as Bracken engaged the Demon King in battle. As Gorgrog swept his enourmous blade down, she shut her eyes, but with a mighty roar, Kendra peeked to see the demon stumbling back and Bracken looking momentarily triumphant.

All that time never even knowing
Just how blind I've been

Kendra's had a flashback to when she first battled Bahumat, when she new nearly nothing about the world of magical creatures.

Now I'm here, blinking in the starlight
Now I'm here, suddenly I see

Kendra's eyes were diverted as Parador set Seth down. Vasilis glowed dimly in his grasp. His shoulder and side were a bloody mess.

Standing here, it's all so clear
I'm where I'm meant to be

A thought struck Kendra. "Seth, can I borrow Vasilis?". She took the sword and gathered her courage.

And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted

The sword blazed white in Kendra's grasp as it towed her toward the Demon King, shedding dazzling flames.

And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new

Kendra surged up to Gorgrog, fear and anger coursing through her.

And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
All at once everything looks different
Now that I see you

Kendra paused before she slashed the demon's leg, looking at Bracken. His eyes were full of awe, and that seemed to give her the strength to slash.

(Bracken's POV)
All those days chasing down a daydream
All those years living in a blur

Bracken felt pain surge through his lower arm as the Demon King's sword slashed him and he fell to the ground, sword still in his grasp. He shut his eyes, awaiting death,

All that time never truly seeing
Things, the way they were

He had a flashback to decades ago, at the Living Mirage dungeon, when he was planning one of his first revolts. He remembered feeling that nothing could stop him.

Now she's here shining in the starlight
Now she's here, suddenly I know

Then, Bracken watched in awe as Kendra seemed to fly across the battlefield, Vasilis gleaming bright white in her grasp.

If she's here it's crystal clear
I'm where I'm meant to go

Although Bracken could not move, he gazed at Kendra with such pure awe, he felt that the light from the shining sword would vaporize him, it was so powerful and magnificent.

And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog is lifted

His awed expression turned to horror as Gorgrog's monstrous blade connected with Kendra's, resulting in an explosive flurry of sparks and leaving a white-edged notch in his blade.

And it's like the sky is new

For the first time since arriving on Shoreless Isle, Bracken felt hopeful.

And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted

Then, with a blinding slash, Kendra killed the Demon King.

All at once, everything is different
Now that I see you, now that I see you

"None have ever seen a blade shine so brightly." Bracken whispered in Kendra's ear. "You did the impossible."

He hugged her more tightly.
