"GO AWAY FUCKASS!"

"But Karkat, I don't get it!"

They had been walking out in the woods for a while now, the two of them having separated from the rest of the group. John hadn't wanted too, but Karkat had stormed off in anger. John couldn't just leave him! Now there they were, wandering through the woods with John helplessly stumbling over rocks and branches trying to stop Karkat from wandering too much farther from the group.

"Will you please just tell me what's wrong Karkat, I won't make fun of you or anything I mean it!" John called out, a bit worried now that they had been walking for so long.

Had the group moved on? Were they still waiting back at the brook? Did they even notice that they had left?

In his worry John hadn't even noticed that Karkat had stopped abruptly. When he looked up from his feet he found himself bumping into the other, stumbling back slightly before he caught himself.

"You all piss me off sometimes, it gets me so angry when you guys act all high and mighty!"

John gave Karkat a curious look, confused. He wanted to reason with him, try and get him to come back. But without actually understanding what it was that had made him so angry how could he possibly do that?

Combing through his thoughts he began to realize something, Jade and Rose had been talking to eachother about being able to fly or something about the sort. Everyone had been able to fly in some sort of way, more or less. Karkat didn't get to experience that.

Stepping forward so that their toes were touching he smiled at the troll, laughing slightly. Karkat merely glared at him in return.

"What's so funny fuckass?"

"Are you jealous that everyone got to fly?"

The strangest thing happened then, something John would never forget, he had actually gotten Karkat to blush. The other was embarrassed that someone had found out why he was so upset. It was sort of cute that the easily irritated troll was blushing.

John had started manipulating the wind, feeling it blow around them as he grabbed Karkat's chin and smiled before leaning in and kissing him. Karkat's arms moved around his shoulders and John smiled a bit more into the kiss, earning a snort from the other, hearing him mumble out something that sounded suspiciously like, "damn derpy smile."

Moving the wind a bit more he managed to get them to rise a few feet, ascending into the air. Karkat pulled from the kiss with wide eyes, looking around them. Leaves whipped around them, surrounding their area. Clutching onto the other a bit tighter he looked back at him, slowly a lopsided smile coming to his face.

"Thanks John."

Giving the other a wide grin he kissed him again, "you're welcome"
