A/N: Some spelling and grammar mistake may be missed I am human. If you think it's a "plot hole" please remember you only have a few chapters of this story.

Talyn woke confused and scared, he didn't know where he was as blue lights surrounded him. He reached for Crais but the man was nowhere to be found, he couldn't sense him at all and it only served to make him panic more. He was utterly alone. He couldn't find his mom, he couldn't find anyone, and he went into full attack mode shooting the blue lights around him. He'd thought it was some kind of energy field but it didn't work, and his starburst was disabled as well. He tried throwing himself against the walls but found that he couldn't reach them. No matter how much speed they were always just out of reach.

The first cycle had been the worst, the panic and fear, the isolation, for the first time in his life he was a little envious of his mother and her pilot. To never be alone, then he started to think that perhaps his mother and her crew had found a way to do this to him. His fear turned to anger, then to hate. He held on to that tightly, letting it make him stronger until a few cycles later. He came to realize that he had truly trusted his mother's crew, even when he had been a baby they had always found a different way to help then to kill or imprison him. If they had indeed put him in something like this they had to have had a reason.

He also slowly came to realize that while Crais was his choice at the time he couldn't say all that they had done was nice, or good. While Crais was a Peacekeeper he was, as Crition had said, a few bricks short of a load. While many of the human's saying escaped him he was starting to understand this one.

"Talyn? We are the ancients." Someone asked making him go on the defensive after over 25 cycles alone someone speaking to him sent him on edge.

"We know that you can hear us, and we can understand you. We mean you no arm. We felt your fear and came to aid, child of Moya." The voice said, Talyn didn't know if he trusted the voice but he wasn't in a position to refuse any help that maybe. He granted them approval though he didn't let his guard down. Part of him wondering how they would know since he presently had no pilot to vocalize.

"We thank you, we will share our knowledge with you now." The voice said, it confused him only for a moment as he started getting a signal that began downloading information into his database. Star charts, and information from their exploration of the cosmos. He didn't know how long they shared information with him. He saw how their race started, how they traveled, what they became, their search for a new home, and the encounters with his mother.

He felt joy that Aryen and John had a child and sadness at the loss of her friends, he marveled at the fact he could feel. He was sad they thought him dead and wished there was something that he could do to let them know. Yet with this knowledge came some type of peace, and he realized that he had been fighting the current of the worm hole he was in. He didn't know exactly where the current would lead him but he couldn't go back and staying here was no longer an option. He sent his gratitude and powered down his thrusters, he felt the connection to the ancients weaken and snap before they were gone. He was along again, a few arns later and he was suddenly in a solar system he didn't know.
