A/N: So this is my first fic, but I guess you could call it a poem. This was inspired by somebodyelsen on Tumblr so credit to them as well. Enjoy, haha.

It was always the flames that enticed her.

It always was.

Even when she fought it back, breathless and sore, [the troublesome duo, I may presume.] they have always seemed to find its way into her soul, following it like shining light through the cracks of her hidden abyss.

However, it was only her who fought her own battles, even when the poor fool she had grown to love over time had never seemed to throw one pitiful gaze from his studies.

No matter, her violent urges needed to be seduced in a sort of passive manner for her steam to be blown off completely, as the scientist would not give her the attention she had so desperately desired.

Tut, it'd be a sin for her to snap at his extensive progress, and with the possessions of guilt and frustration, it only led her to strive for more farther victories.

Perhaps that is what led her lips into the direction of his, snapping his direction with a fierce, biting kiss.

He looked up from his studies, then.

Did he understand?

Could the gentleman possibly have felt her rare, gentle radiance collide with his?

Nonetheless, only silence was left in their company along with the flickering flames – her beloved friend.

They never left.

They were always watching.

I know it's not that great but I'm still learning. XD Anyway I hope you like it!
