Call had been working on his air magic when Alex came in.

"Hey, when you're done practicing, we're all going down to the Gallery."

"Okay, I'm coming." Call dropped the stone he was levitating and grabbed his bag.

The Gallery wasn't very full that evening. Most of the older students had upcoming tests to study for and the younger Iron Years were probably too tired from lessons to play around much. Alex seemed to be the only older student hanging around.

"Hey Call!" Celia smiled and waved at him.

"Hi, Celia." Ever since she had kissed him Call had been feeling shy around her.

"Call!" He turned around. Tamara grabbed his arm and dragged him over to where Alex and some other students were. "Come on! Alex is going to show us how to make illusions!"

"Aren't we supposed to wait until our Silver Year for that?" Call asked.

Tamara waved a hand, "It's fine, I don't think Master Rufus will really complain if we do some extra studying."

Call shrugged and watched as Alex demonstrated how to create an image out of air and make it hang in empty space. Some of the other students tried first, then Jasper made a zombie that wiggled around a bit before vanishing. He smirked at Call who scowled in reply.

"Call? Do you want to try something?" Alex offered.

"Make something to scare Jasper," Tamara whispered.

Call grinned at her, "Something better than a zombie?" She nodded, smirking evilly. "I know just the thing," Call said, thinking about one of his favorite shows. He moved the air magic around until it started to form a triangle, then it glowed and solidified.

"Oh cool!" One of the students said. "You made Bill Cipher! I love Gravity Falls!" The other students seemed to like it too, and Call couldn't resist smirking at Jasper who was trying to look unimpressed. The students were still chatting as the Bill Cipher illusion floated around, looking very realistic. Then it stopped at Call and his smile faded.

"Hey! Call!" Bill Cipher floated uncomfortably close to his face. "You go by Call now, right? Just wanted to say, the whole undead army and soul transference thing? A+ work kiddo! I'm recruiting, and you'd fit right in! So what do you say kid? Want to be my friend and wreak havoc across multiple dimensions!"

Call stood frozen, feeling sick. What had he done? It was just an illusion right? But why was he talking? And how did he know he was Constantine?

"Oh, I get it. You need time to think it over. Well don't worry, I've got all the time in the world. If you ever reconsider, just say my name." The triangle demon giggled and then vanished.

"Call! That was awesome! You're really good at air magic!" Celia said, smiling at him.

Call didn't move.

"Call? Are you alright?" Alex asked concerned. "Don't let Jasper get to you, you did really well for your first time."

Call looked back at the empty space where Bill had been. "Did you…. hear him speak at all?"

"What?" Alex looked confused. "Oh no, Call. Don't worry about trying to get it to speak yet. That's pretty advanced for you right now. Just creating something was really good."

Everyone else didn't appear to have heard Bill speak, did he hallucinate the whole thing? Call spent the rest of the night, feeling uncomfortable and looking around, wondering if he'd accidentally managed to summon Bill Cipher.
