A/N: Ever since my family got the mistletoe I've been lucky enough. I hope it'll stay that way. And while I was sitting in the living room, this very short oneshot came to me. Has anyone noticed how the mistletoe is always placed in the most unconvinient place? Ah, well. I hope everyone has a good time over the holidays!

Eleven-year-old Edmund Pevensie scrambled down the hallways of Cair Paravel, his relatively new home, trying to find Susan. Up a staircase, down another, she was nowhere! Nimbly, Edmund dodged past a couple of centaurs and kept running. Unfortunately, he didn't escape the next person who happened to be walking along.

"Ouch! Ed, watch where you're going!" Peter yelped.

Edmund mumbled, "Sorry…"

Peter replied, "No problem; just try not to hit anyone else."

"Have you seen- oh, bother, look up." Edmund said. He pointed to the ceiling and Peter's eyes followed, only to see something that caused a rather unpleasant situation.

Peter sighed, "Well, of all people to meet under mistletoe…"

Quickly, Edmund glanced around. "Well… well, at least nobody's here…"

"Come on, I was going to dinner, can't we just make it quick?" Peter grumbled.

Edmund's eyes lit up. "There's no rule saying people have to kiss each other anywhere in particular! I mean, you and I are siblings anyways, right? So why don't we kiss each other on the shoulders, or something like that?"

"Right. Somewhere that isn't romantic or anything of the like. I'll go first then." Peter said, then quickly bent down and kissed Edmund on the forehead.

Edmund heaved a sigh of relief. "Glad that's done. I guess it's my turn. Umm… how… no. Umm… what if…"

"Ed, I have somewhere to go. Just get it done and we can do what we were before. It's no use being stuck here all day!" Peter said.

Edmund looked one way, then the other, and quickly dodged over to Peter. He kissed his brother on the shoulder then leapt back.

Peter smiled softly. "Let's stick to hugs, if we can."

"And from now on, always watch out for the mistletoe!" Edmund added. Both of them shared a short chuckle and then once again Edmund ran off. Peter stayed for a while longer, and was about to leave when Susan rounded the corner.

"Peter, have you seen Edmund? I've been looking all over for him." Susan inquired, oblivious to the disaster she was about to cause.

Peter leapt backwards. "No! Susan! Stay where you are! Please!"

Susan stopped and gave her older brother a quizzical look. "Why? What's wrong?"

Peter grinned sheepishly and pointed to the mistletoe. "Yes, I did just see Edmund."

Susan glowered at the mistletoe. "And just yesterday, it happened with me and Tumnus. We must move it."

Peter muttered, "I think we have to find a way out of this first. We're under it."
