this is what would happen if narnia came to our world.

It was summer, and the fact that it was during the reign of the four kings and queens of Narnia, meant that the dryads sang, the animals happily talked, and Cair Paravel was full of light. However, there was one crucial factor missing from this; the kings and queens weren't actually there. They had apparently gone back to their world, and aslan had explained that they would come back- eventually.

This wasn't good enough however for the faithful friends of these four; Philip, king Edmunds steed ever since the battle with the white witch. He was a trusted advisor, and could be counted on to give a fair view, event if it wasn't the one you wanted to hear. There was Farsight, the eagle; a magnificent creature who could be counted on in a battle, a centaur named Tyran; a huge, copper coloured beast that excelled in the art of warfare, and finally, a rather old Mr Tumnus, who was queen Lucy's closest friend ever since they had come to narnia, and so the largest store of knowledge about humans.

These four decided that if the kings and queens of narnia could get into their world, then they could get into the humans world. They was, however, a slight problem...

It was the middle of night in London, and the moon only peeked its head around a cloud to illuminate the lone figure walking to a respectable house in Kensington. The figure was tall, and in his twenties, but he walked with dignity, and his head held high- the image being spoilt by the gingery fringe that flopped in his bluey eyes. Walking up the steps to his house, a slight gust of wind blew the overcoat, making it billow, then abruptly stopped, and the figure listened for the scuffle of, well, hooves, that he had heard a moment in the alley next to his house. He frowned, and walked up the steps that led into his home, and disappeared. The shadows in the alley flickered for a moment, and then re-arranged themselves into the figures of farsight, tyran, Mr Tumnus and Philip, all rather the worse for wear. Tyran turned to Mr Tumnus, who was re-tying his scarf, and spoke in a gravely voice that held just a pinch of annoyance: "Tumnus... where exactly are we/ because if you've got it wrong again…" and he left the sentence unfinished. Mr Tumnus shook himself, and replied in a slightly pompous voice "we are here tyran. And please, we must all be quiet. I don't think the kings and queens would be too pleased to know that they are called for." And with that he headed up to the steps and tried to climb them. Philip, who had been standing there thinking, voiced the thought which echoed in all their heads. "What if the kings and queens won't recognise us? I mean, the travel to this world could have meant that they lost their memory." For a moment, Mr Tumnus shivered, although it was the middle of June, and replied in a quiet voice, "I hope they do." And with that, he rang the door to the house where the figure had entered a few moments before.
