Twenty-five Dollars
The concept here isn't mine; my aunt sent me an email with a story like this in it, and it was so adorable, so I saved it. But it seemed to fit Kakuzu, so... xD

Kakuzu came home late from work, tired and irritated. He already knew that Hidan was probably fast asleep in their bed, and was surprised to find their five-year-old son waiting for him at the door.
"Papa? Can I ask you a question?" Deidara asked, bright blue eyes looking to his father's face.
"Yeah, sure. What is it?" Kakuzu replied.
"Papa, how much money do you make in an hour?
"That's none of your business. Why do you want to know that?" The brunette asked, angrily.
"I just want to know, yeah. Please tell me. How much do you make in an hour?" The young blond repeated.
Sighing, Kakuzu rolled his eyes slightly. "If you must know, I make fifty dollars and hour."
"Oh." The boy said, his head lowering a bit. "...Papa? Can I please borrow twenty-five dollars?"
Kakuzu was furious. "If the only reason you asked that is so that you can borrow some money to buy some silly toy, or some other nonsense, then you can go straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities."
Looking hurt, the little boy nodded, turned, and quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The older man sat down at the kitchen table so that he could eat the cold meal that Hidan had left him in the fridge. He got angrier over his sons' questions as he thought about them again. How dare he ask such things just to get some money?
After about an hour or so, Kakuzu had calmed down and started to re-think his actions; maybe there was something that Deidara really needed to buy with that twenty-five dollars. And it wasn't like he asked for money that often.
With a small sigh, the man got up and went upstairs. He went to the little boy's room and slowly opened the door.
"Are you asleep, son?" He called in quietly.
"No, papa. I'm awake." Deidara replied.
Entering the small room fully, Kakuzu slowly rubbed at the back of his head. "Listen...I've been thinking...maybe I was too hard on you earlier." He reached into his back pocket and pulled his wallet out, beginning to shift through it. "It's been a long day, I'm tired, and I took my aggravation out on you. Here. Here's the twenty-five dollars you asked for."
Deidara sat straight up, smiling brightly as he accepted the folded up bills from his father. "Thank you, yeah!" He exclaimed.
Then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled out some crumpled up dollar bills.
Kakuzu, seeing that his son already had money, started to become angry again. As Deidara slowly began to count his money, the brunette huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. "Why did you want more money if you already had some?" He grumbled.
"Because I didn't have enough before, but I do now." Deidara replied, smiling as he looked back up at his dad.
Gathering all of the money together, the little boy stood up and held out the bills towards Kakuzu.
"Papa, I have fifty dollars now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please, come home early tomorrow. I want you to have dinner with me and daddy."
Kakuzu was absolutely crushed. He put his arms around his young son and begged for his forgiveness.

...Deidara is his son, because Kakuzu and Hidan adopted him. 8D
xD THAT idea is from an older fic of mine, called War Stories. Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed it. Such a cute little moral lesson there, isn't it? 8D
